About the race
The race.
The Hickory Hammock 5K & Kids Fun Run takes place on September 27, 2026, in Winter Garden, FL. The 5K course covers 3.1 miles and starts and finishes at the community park. A separate kids fun run follows the main race. Participants and spectators receive breakfast food and drinks after the races. All proceeds benefit Edgewood Children's Ranch. The event is open to members of the Hickory Hammock gated community at Johns Lake and their friends and family.
