High Bridge Half Marathon & 5k 2026

The race.

The High Bridge Half Marathon & 5K takes place October 3, 2026, in Farmville, Virginia, starting and finishing at High Bridge Trail State Park Plaza in downtown Farmville. The course follows the High Bridge Trail, a rail-to-trail conversion with a crushed limestone surface that is wide and level with minimal grade. Half Marathon participants cross the historic High Bridge twice; the bridge spans nearly half a mile and rises 125 feet above the Appomattox River. Both distances feature on-course water stations, support groups, music, and vault toilets. Half Marathon finishers who complete the race within 4 hours receive finisher awards.
