About the race
The race.
The High Mountain Half Marathon Decade Anniversary takes place July 31–August 1, 2026, in Lakeside, Arizona. The half marathon is a point-to-point race on Saturday, August 1, starting at 6:00 AM with a 4-hour time limit. Runners are bused from Blue Ridge High School and travel down Porter Mountain, finishing at the high school track. A 10K starts at 6:30 AM and a 5K at 7:00 AM on Saturday, both out-and-back courses at the track. Friday evening events include a Glow Run/Walk at 8:30 PM (non-timed, with paint options) and a free Kids Run at 8:00 PM for ages 0–12 over 1K. Race entries include a t-shirt; the first 75 kids run registrants receive medals.
