Historic Drawbridge Running Festival 2026

The race.

The Historic Drawbridge Running Festival takes place on October 31, 2026, in St Michaels, Maryland, offering three race distances: a 5K, a half marathon (13.1 miles), and a marathon (26.2 miles). The 5K starts and finishes at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum at 8:30 a.m. on an out-and-back course. The half marathon and marathon begin at Tilghman Island, with the half marathon running 13.1 miles primarily along Route 33 to St Michaels, while the marathon continues an additional 13.1 miles through Bozman and Neavitt before returning. All courses are USATF certified. Both the half marathon and marathon have an 8-hour cutoff time. Runners can board buses at the Maritime Museum on race morning for transportation to the start line at Tilghman Island, with aid stations positioned along the course.
