Holiday Luminary 5K 2026

The race.

The Holiday Luminary 5K takes place November 20, 2026, in Overland Park, Kansas, at the Overland Park Arboretum. The 5K course starts and finishes near the LongHouse Visitors Center and features carolers, music, and cookies at aid stations along the route. All finishers receive light-up medals, and registrants who sign up by November 17 receive long-sleeve event shirts. The finish area includes post-race photo opportunities, holiday entertainment with DJ music and dancing, and refreshments. An arboretum admission ticket is required in addition to race entry: $7 for adults, $3 for ages 6–17, and free for children 5 and under. Age group awards are given to first-place finishers, and raffle prizes are distributed.
