Hope for the Holiday Half Marathon and 5k in Memory of Garrett Yeager 2026

The race.

This half marathon and 5K race on December 5, 2026, in Batesville, Arkansas, benefits New Hope Refuge, a faith-based program supporting women in substance abuse recovery, in memory of Garrett Yeager. The 5K begins in the Eagle Mountain neighborhood, while the 13.1-mile course extends onto Lyon College's campus, includes a 0.75-mile trail section, and follows country roads back to the start area. All finishers receive a medal and race hoodie; registration closes November 29 to guarantee a hoodie. Packet pickup occurs race morning from 6:30 to 7:45 a.m. If the race is cancelled, entries are deferred to the following year with no refunds issued.
