Hotcake Hustle 2026

The race.

The Hotcake Hustle takes place October 10, 2026, at Comstock Community Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Participants can register for a 5K or 1-mile distance. Packet pickup begins at 7:30 a.m., with the race starting at 9:00 a.m. using a waterfall start format with chip timing. All finishers receive custom medals, and top-two finishers in each age group receive medals in custom colors. The overall male and female winners receive trophies. Age groups range from 12 and under through 60 and over. A pancake and sausage breakfast is included for all registered participants; additional breakfasts are available for a $5 minimum donation. Early registration closes October 12 at 11:59 p.m. for $40. Results are posted at the event and online through Southwest Michigan Timing. Registration supports the Kalamazoo Sunrise Kiwanis, which has donated to local youth programs for over 30 years.
