Hull of a Race 2026

The race.

Hull of a Race takes place August 15, 2026, in downtown Hull, IL, benefiting the American Parkinson Disease Association. Four distances are offered: a quarter-mile kids fun run starting at 7:45 a.m., and a 5K/10K competitive race plus 5K fun walk (for walkers, wheelchair users, and strollers) both starting at 8:00 a.m., with all events beginning and ending at 290 Main Street. The 5K and 10K courses are USATF certified and wind through the village and surrounding countryside. Age group divisions span from 9 and under through 70 and over, with chip timing and awards including trophies, medallions, and ribbons. Guaranteed race shirts require registration by August 1. Packet pickup is available Friday, August 14, from 6–7 p.m. at the downtown park or Saturday morning from 6:45–8:00 a.m. at the Main Street shelter.
