About the race
The race.
Join the Iraqi Children Foundation for their 14th annual 5K run/walk on August 29, 2026, at 8 AM at Burke Lake Park in Fairfax, VA. Participate in-person or virtually from anywhere. Check-in begins at 8 AM; race-day registration is not available. An after-party with snacks, music, and activities follows the race. Awards are given to the largest team and top fundraiser. Proceeds benefit Iraqi orphans and vulnerable children served by the ICF, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
