The race.
Ider's Founder's Day 5K Walk & Run takes place on September 7, 2026, at 7:00 a.m. on Dogwood Drive in Ider, Alabama. Participants can choose to walk or run the 5K distance. Finisher medals are awarded in eight age and gender categories: men and women over 50 and under 50 for both the walk and run. Registration starts at $15. All proceeds benefit the Town of Ider Park.
