Catch deer flies with a Tred- Not Deerfly Patch (on your hat... BRING A HAT!!! ) & raise $$$ to help fight Alzheimer's disease. Although we hope your time flies with us (see what I did there?), this is not a timed event .

The winner is the STOMPER who catches the most number of deer flies . Yes, we will actually count the deer flies. Rules? There's not a lot of rules...the "Dee Berry" rule (you can't steal somebody else's patch) is the only real rule. Prizes to top 3 STOMPERS!

FYI This is year 17 of the Jack Settles Deerfly Stomp!!! (Plus a few years of informal stomping...) Over the past 16 years we have caught approximately 3500 deerflies (plus at least 1 horsefly...grrrr) AND donated over $14,000 to the Alzheimer's Association!
