About the race
The race.
The Jesus Saves 5K Run takes place October 3, 2026, at Precinct 2 Hike & Bike Trail in Pharr, Texas. Two distances are offered: a 3.1-mile chip-timed run starting at 8:00 a.m. and a 1-mile untimed walk starting at 8:10 a.m. Registration is $25 for the 5K and $20 for the 1-mile walk, with prices increasing September 1. All registrants receive a custom finisher medal and event shirt (guaranteed with registration by September 12). Age group awards are also provided. Packet pickup occurs at First Baptist Church of Pharr, with date and time to be announced. All proceeds benefit First Baptist Church of Pharr's outreach ministries.
