Joggin for the Noggin takes place Saturday, September 26, 2026, in Atchison, Kansas, featuring a 5K, 3.1-mile, and 2K race. The event starts at 8:00 a.m. at 101 Commercial Street in front of the old Riverhouse Restaurant, with registration and check-in beginning at 7:15 a.m. Race-day registration is available starting at 7:15 a.m.; online registration closes Wednesday, September 23rd, with pre-registration deadline of September 11th to guarantee t-shirt size. Finishers receive medals in age divisions for the 5K and 2K distances, with plaques awarded to the top two overall 5K finishers by gender. Post-race activities include a pancake feed, cupcakes, and children's activities at the adjacent Atchison River Walk and Veterans Memorial Park. Proceeds benefit the Mary Lea Johanning Scholarship for Atchison High School senior women attending Kansas universities and colleges.
