The race.
The Journal Jog 8K takes place on August 23, 2026, in Reno, Nevada, organized by Reno Running Company. The main 8K race starts at 8:10 a.m., with a Stroller-Run division beginning at 8:05 a.m. The course runs through Old Southwest Reno neighborhoods and finishes on the track at Reno High School. A separate Junior Jog race for children ages 10 and under starts at 9:30 a.m. and covers approximately 0.25 miles, also finishing on the high school track. Participants can compete in running, walking, or stroller divisions.
