The race.
The July 4th Run takes place on July 4, 2026, in Key Biscayne, Florida, offering distances of 1 mile, 5K, 10K, and 13.1 miles. Participants may choose from four wave start times beginning at 7:30 AM, with the final wave at 8:30 AM; coordinators remain on-site for three hours after the first wave. All ages and paces are welcome, including walkers, with participants under 18 requiring a guardian. Registration includes a technical running shirt (shipped to US addresses), finisher's medal, finisher's towel or giveaway item, digital training pack, online results, and certificate of completion. Timing is optional and can be tracked via personal apps or with coordinator assistance. Race bibs are provided on race day. A virtual run option is available, allowing participants to complete the distance at their own time and location. Optional fundraising supports designated charities, with $1 donated per mile logged after the race.
