Jurassic Jaunt – 5K, 10K, 10M, and Half Marathon 2026

The race.

The Jurassic Jaunt takes place on September 19, 2026, in Long Beach, CA, starting and finishing at Alamitos Beach (780 E Shoreline Dr). Participants can choose from five distances: 5K, 10K, 15K, 10 miles, or half marathon. The half marathon and 10-mile races start at 7:00 a.m., while the 5K and 10K begin at 7:30 a.m., with the course closing at 10:20 a.m. Early bib pickup is available Friday from 4:00–6:00 p.m. at Sports Basement Long Beach, with additional pickup on race morning starting at 6:20 a.m. All finishers receive a medal, and first-place medals are awarded to the top male and female finisher in each distance. The course follows out-and-back routes on the beach path, with water and aid stations on course and at the finish line offering water, Gatorade, gels, and fruit snacks.
