Description
Join us for our 14th Annual run/walk to honor and celebrate the life of Kendra R. Atherton and to raise money for a scholarship fund in her name to benefit college students who have lost a parent to cancer, and who display the qualities possessed by Kendra. As of today, the k5k: A Run for Kendra has awarded over $155,000 in scholarships to students who have lost a parent to cancer.
When: Saturday, November 21, 2026 at 9am
Where: Virginia Beach Boardwalk or Virtually
Join us for our after party at The Shack after the race is over! The Shack is located at 712 Atlantic Ave, Virginia Beach, VA 23451.
Whether you live in the area or are 500 miles away, you now have the opportunity to run/walk the k5k wherever you are! Follow us on Facebook to get connected with our race no matter if you are participating in-person or virtually. When you sign up for our virtual event, you will also receive emails with instructions on how to post your results. Virtual results can be posted at any time during the month of November . You can compete with people participating all over the country! Spread the word to family and friends!
