Karis' Cause 5K 2026

The race.

Karis' Cause 5K takes place August 8, 2026, at Rotary Park on the OSU-Newark/COTC campus in Newark, OH, with a 9:00am start. The 3.1-mile race follows a paved course through the campus, crosses State Route 16, and runs near Raccoon Creek. Race day registration and packet pickup begin at 7:30am. All finishers receive medals; the top 3 male and female overall runners and top 3 finishers in each age group (14-under through 70+) earn trophies or additional medals. Race packets include custom t-shirts, race bibs, and sponsor items; water and refreshments are available at the finish. All proceeds benefit children and families affected by childhood cancer. Virtual registration is available.
