The race.
The Katy YMCAs 24th Annual Turkey Dash takes place on November 26, 2026, in Katy, TX. Participants can choose from a 1-mile family walk/run, a 1-mile kids race for ages 3–12, a timed 5K walk/run, or a timed 10K run. Every finisher receives a medal. The event includes a Turkey Tailgate with a Kids Zone, local vendors, and interactive booths. Proceeds support YMCA programs including swim lessons, wellness access, and community services for families regardless of income.
