The race.
Kickin' Up The Dust 5K takes place July 25, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Fox Ranch in Plano, Illinois. This western-themed 5K is part of the Illinois Adventure Series organized by Spirits Run. The course runs through the ranch property and surrounding countryside. Awards include a bottle of wine for best costume, a drink ticket for first place finisher, a cowbell for tenth place, and a novelty award for the last finisher. Post-race activities include drinks, music, and social gathering at the ranch.
