About the race

The race.

The Kids Splash & Dash at Kidd Springs Aquatic Center takes place on Saturday, July 25, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. This USA Triathlon-sanctioned aquathlon combines a pool swim with a run for youth ages 6–15. Participants choose between two distances based on age: Youth Junior (ages 6–10) swim 100 meters and run 1 kilometer; Youth Senior (ages 11–15) swim 200 meters and run 2 kilometers. Check-in begins at 7:00 a.m., with the transition area opening at 7:30 a.m. and closing at 7:45 a.m. Youth Junior athletes start at 8:00 a.m., followed by Youth Senior athletes at approximately 8:10 a.m. All participants must be USA Triathlon members; limited free youth annual memberships are available. The event costs $10 per participant.
