About the race
The race.
The Kirkwood School District Cross Country Meet takes place October 13–14, 2026, at Kirkwood Park in Kirkwood, Missouri. On Tuesday, October 13, students in grades 6–8 compete in 1.5-mile races by grade and gender, with races beginning at 4:00 p.m. On Wednesday, October 14, students in grades 3–5 run 1-mile races by grade and gender, starting at 4:30 p.m. All participants receive a ribbon for completing their race. Schools earn traveling trophies based on combined placement points from their top five male and top five female runners in each division. Participation is free and open to all Kirkwood School District students in grades 3–8.
