The race.
The Kona Kids 5K, held August 30, 2026, in Powell, Ohio, is organized by Strive For More to benefit Kona Kids, a nonprofit serving children on Hawaii's Big Island. All race proceeds support the organization's provision of school supplies and meals, with this year's fundraising dedicated to the McCoy College Scholarship in honor of John W. McCoy.
