LA Race Against Gun Violence is a community event hosted by the Watts Gang Task Force, in partnership with Strides For Peace, that brings together residents, families, community organizations, law enforcement, and advocates to take a united stand against gun violence. Through walking, running, and community engagement, participants demonstrate their commitment to building safer neighborhoods, honoring lives impacted by violence, and promoting peace throughout Los Angeles. More than just a race, this event is a movement that inspires connection, hope, and collective action—proving that every step we take together helps create stronger, safer communities for future generations.
