Lacey 5K 2026

The race.

The Lacey 5K takes place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Gille Park in Forked River, New Jersey. The 5K course is USATF certified and flat. Entry is $35 for pre-registration by August 5 or $40 thereafter and race day; students 18 and under pay $25 pre-registered or $30 after. Early packet pickup and race day registration begin Friday, August 21 at 10 a.m. at the Recreation building, with race day registration starting at 7 a.m. Awards include $150 for first place overall by gender, $125 for second, and $100 for third, plus age group awards spanning 12 and under through 85+, top Lacey resident awards, and first responder and education professional categories. Pre-registered participants receive custom performance tech shirts while supplies last. Race amenities include multiple water stops, mile markers at 1 and 2, electronic timing, and a post-race BBQ sponsored by Applebee's. Proceeds benefit substance abuse prevention, the Recreation Department, and the Lacey Food Bank.
