About the race
The race.
The Lake Quivira Triathlon takes place on September 5, 2026, in Lake Quivira, Kansas. The event features a 500-meter swim in the lake, followed by approximately 9 miles of cycling on two loops around the lake roads, and concludes with a 5K run. Participation is limited to 120 athletes. All finishers receive a race shirt, swim cap, and access to an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast. Membership at Lake Quivira or guest status with a member is required to register; registration fees are nonrefundable.
