Lakefront Discovery Run 2026

The race.

The Lakefront Discovery Run takes place on October 31, 2026, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, featuring a 15K, 5K, and 450-meter kids run. The 15K starts at 9:05 a.m. and the 5K at 9:15 a.m., both beginning at Veteran's Park along the lakefront. Awards are given for overall male and female winners in each distance, plus age group awards (1st–3rd place) across 14 age categories, and a separate best costume award. All finishers receive an event t-shirt (guaranteed only for pre-race registrations completed by October 18), post-race snacks, and candy at aid stations. Early packet pickup is available October 28–30 at three locations; race-day registration and packet pickup occur from 8:00–8:55 a.m. at Veteran's Park.
