About the race
The race.
The LAPD Foothill Fitness Run on August 16, 2026, in Lake View Terrace features three race distances: a 0.62-mile fun run/walk for kids starting at 7:30 a.m., a 3.1-mile run/walk, and a 6.2-mile run/walk, both beginning at 8:00 a.m. The multi-surface course includes cement and trail running at Hansen Dam Aquatic Center. The first 1,000 participants receive a medal and t-shirt. Entry fees are $25 for students and cadets and $30 for adults across all distances. Early packet pickup is available Friday, August 14 (10 a.m.–8 p.m.) and Saturday, August 15 (8 a.m.–1 p.m.) at Pacoima City Hall. All proceeds benefit Foothill Station's youth programs, including the LAPD Jr. Cadet Program, LAPD Cadet Program, and Foothill Jeopardy.
