The race.
Last Man Standing: The Burpee Open takes place on September 26, 2026, in Riverside Park, New York. Athletes compete by completing 10 full burpees—chest to ground, jump, hands overhead—each minute until only one person remains. The competition starts at 9:00 AM with check-in at 8:35 AM and athlete briefing at 8:50 AM. Entry is $10. Competitors who complete 60 or more rounds earn membership in the 60 Club and receive a limited-edition hat. The winner receives approximately $100 in gift cards and the title of Burpee Open Champion Year II. All participants are featured on the official leaderboard, and those reaching 60+ rounds are named in the event recap.
