The race.
Leah's Legacy takes place on September 13, 2026, in Charleston, WV, featuring a 5K run and 2-mile walk that begin and end at Charleston City Center (Slack Plaza). The event starts at 5:00 pm and follows a route toward the boulevard before returning to the start location. Proceeds support a memorial scholarship fund for senior athletes who demonstrate teamwork and leadership. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers by gender, top masters runners (age 40+), top finishers in ten age groups spanning 8 and under through 80–89, and the three fastest adult teams with a minimum of five co-ed members.
