About the race
The race.
The Lexington Legacy 5K takes place on Saturday, November 28, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in Lexington, Massachusetts. The 5-kilometer course is USATF certified and composed primarily of roads. Registration costs $35 in advance or $40 on race day; students, seniors, and town employees pay $25. Participants who register by November 7 receive an official race t-shirt; additional shirts are available for $20. Awards go to male and female champions, LHS alumni winners in each gender, and first-place finishers in age groups ranging from 11 and under through 70 and over. All race proceeds benefit the Lexington High School Cross Country and Track & Field program. Strollers and dogs are permitted.
