Lincoln Days Railsplitter 5K and 10K 2026

The race.

The Lincoln Days Railsplitter 5K and 10K races take place October 3, 2026, at 8:15 a.m. in downtown Hodgenville, Kentucky, during the 55th Annual Lincoln Days Celebration. The 5K follows an out-and-back course through downtown, while the 10K loops through Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park. Both races are open road events; the 10K includes a water refill station, while 5K runners must carry their own water. Packet pickup begins at 7:15 a.m. race morning. Finishers receive a medal and t-shirt (guaranteed only for those registered by September 18, 2026). Overall male and female winners in each distance receive special handcrafted awards, with top two finishers honored at an awards ceremony on the Main Stage. Post-race food, beverages, and live music are available downtown.
