About the race
The race.
The Live Brave 5K and 1 Mile takes place on August 8, 2026, at Colby Lake Park in Woodbury, Minnesota. The 5K starts at 8:30 a.m. (arrive by 7:45 a.m.), and the 1 Mile event starts at 10:00 a.m. (arrive by 9:15 a.m.), with a competitive wave also at 10:00 a.m. and a community/kids wave at 10:15 a.m. A 0.5-mile kids race is included; children 12 and under run the 1 Mile free. Both courses are USATF certified with gun and chip timing. Participants receive finisher food, refreshments, and awards. The event benefits youth eating disorder prevention and recovery through the WithAll Organization. Team registration is available, with eligible 5K teams competing for prizes based on team size and speed. No race day registration is offered.
