Longest Night Mile 2026

The race.

The Longest Night Mile takes place on December 21, 2026, at Phoenix High School Track in Phoenix, Oregon. Runners complete one mile by circling the track four times, with five staggered heats beginning at 6:15 p.m. and organized by pace. Entry requires either a $13 online donation or $15 day-of payment (cash or check only), or alternatively, bringing 2–3 or more boxes of dry cereal; all proceeds benefit the SOU Student Food Pantry. Ribbons are awarded to the top three finishers in each age group, and cash prizes are offered for sub–4:00 male and sub–4:40 female times. Registration opens at 5 p.m. on race day.
