The race.

The Loon Triathlon takes place August 9, 2026, in Lincoln, Maine, organized by Maine Endurance Sports Alliance. Race options include Sprint Triathlon (750-meter swim, 20-kilometer bike, 5-kilometer run) and Olympic Triathlon (1500-meter swim, 40-kilometer bike, 10-kilometer run), both starting at 7:30 a.m., plus duathlon versions of each event. The swim begins at Prince Thomas Park Beach on Lake Mattanawcook, with transition and finish at Prince Thomas Park. Additional race details and maps are available at www.mesa-maine.org.
