The race.
The Looney Days 5K takes place on August 1, 2026, in Vergas, Minnesota. The 5K course begins and ends at Vergas City Beach. The route includes paved trail sections, a floating bridge crossing, Tin Can Alley with grassy and natural terrain, a floating boardwalk return, and shoreline trail along Long Lake before finishing on pavement. Volunteers are stationed throughout the course.
