The Lope for Loons 6K Trail Run takes place on August 8, 2026, in Charlevoix, Michigan, starting at 9:00 AM with professional timing. The 6K course covers trail terrain including dirt, sand, roots, and challenging climbs on ski hill grounds. Packet pickup is available Friday 2–6 PM at Charlevoix Running Company (327 Bridge Street) or race morning 8–8:45 AM at Mt. McSauba Ski Lodge. Proceeds benefit the Little Traverse Conservancy for loon protection signage and Mt. McSauba's outdoor education infrastructure.
