Los Angeles Sunset Relays | 5K & Kid Run 2026

The race.

The Los Angeles Sunset Relays & 5K takes place on September 12, 2026, in Los Angeles, CA, featuring multiple distance options including 10-mile relays (teams of 4 or 2), a 5K solo race, and additional distances of 1K, 1 mile, 2.5 miles, 11K, 15K, and 30K. The event runs on trail courses in Griffith Park with aid stations and medical staff. All participants receive a premium short-sleeve tech shirt, finisher's medal, custom bib, and access to chip-timed results and professional race photos. Relay teams compete for prizes awarded to the top three finishers, with special awards for most spirited team name and age-grade winners in the 5K. Finish line amenities include fruit, snacks, refreshments, and full-body wipes. Teams registering by August 31, 2026, will have their names printed on the back of shirts.
