The race.
The Lost in the Woods 5K takes place on December 19, 2026, in Newport News, VA, featuring a two-loop course through the campus and wooded areas of Peninsula Catholic High School. The race welcomes runners and walkers of all skill levels. All registration profits, after costs, benefit charity: 50% goes to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, while competing teams vie for the opportunity to direct the remaining 50% to a charity of their choice. The event is hosted by PCYT, a youth-led community service organization.
