Love is a Verb 5K is a 3.1-mile road race benefiting 8th Day Clean, a nonprofit supporting education and skill development for young people in developing countries. The on-site race takes place on August 29, 2026, starting at 8:00 a.m. at Riverstone Church in Kennesaw, Georgia, with the course looping through the adjacent Barrett Greene neighborhood. Awards are given to the top three finishers in each of nine age categories (10 & under through 70 & over) for both males and females, plus overall male and female winners. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations received by August 15. Packet pickup and race-day registration occur from 7:00 to 7:40 a.m. at the church; online registration closes at 11:59 p.m. on August 28. One water station is available on the course, with additional water and snacks at the finish line.
