The race.
The Love Like Shelby Memorial 5K Color Run takes place on April 25, 2026, at York Comprehensive High School Campus in York, SC. The 5K course covers gravel, track, and asphalt surfaces and is not USATF-certified; participants are encouraged to use self-timing as chip timing is unavailable. T-shirts are guaranteed for those who register by midnight on April 16th, with extra shirts available in limited quantities. Race day registration costs $25 and accepts check or cash only. All proceeds benefit the Shelby Brakefield Memorial Scholarship fund.
