The Loveland Frogman Race on August 29, 2026, features a triathlon format combining a 5-mile kayak, 8-mile bike, and 5K run. Participants may compete individually (age 16+) or as two-person teams (age 10+), with separate male, female, and parent/child divisions. The event starts at 8:30 a.m. with staggered waves; kayakers begin with an initial departure at 7:45 a.m. All transitions and the finish occur at Loveland Canoe & Kayak on Karl Brown Way, with shuttle service provided to the kayak start. Mandatory packet pickup occurs Friday, August 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in downtown Loveland; no race-day pickup is available. Kayaks, life jackets, and paddles are supplied; participants must bring their own bicycles and wear helmets while cycling and life jackets while paddling. Event t-shirts are available for purchase ($25) through August 1. Race fees are $185 per team or $105 per individual on Saturday; $175 per team or $95 per individual on Sunday.
