The Lehigh Valley Road Runners hosts the final race of its September Summer Series on September 2, 2026, in Allentown, PA at Lehigh Parkway. This 3.1-mile prediction run uses a countdown format: runners select their own start times between 5:15 and 6:00 PM based on their predicted finish time, aiming to all cross the finish line when the 60-minute countdown reaches zero. The accurately measured course follows a mostly flat cinder trail with modifications due to bridge repairs. Participants must be at least 10 years old and check in before racing. The event is free and open to non-members; race organizers provide hotdogs, water, and chips.
