Maddie's Mark 5k 2026

The race.

Maddie's Mark 5k takes place Sunday, October 18, 2026, in Central Park Schenectady. The event features a 5K run, 5K walk, family walk, and children's race, timed by Albany Running Exchange. Packet pickup and day-of registration begin at 8:30 a.m., with the 5K run and family walk starting at 10:00 a.m. All participants receive medals; the first 200 registered for the individual race event also receive Maddie's Mark shirts. Awards go to the top three male and female finishers overall and within 10-year age groups. Proceeds benefit the Maddie's Mark Foundation, which provides experiences for seriously and terminally ill children in the area.
