Malverne 5K Run for Education 2026

The race.

The Malverne 5K Run for Education takes place on October 18, 2026, in Malverne, NY, benefiting the Malverne Educational and Fitness Foundation, a nonprofit supporting youth programs in the Malverne school district. Packet pickup and day-of registration open at 7:30 a.m. at Malverne High School. A 200-meter fun run for children age 10 and under starts at 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Wicks Lane and N Cambridge Street. The 5K run-walk begins at 9:00 a.m. at Wicks Lane next to H.T. Herber Middle School and follows a course through Malverne, Lynbrook, and Lakeview, finishing behind Malverne High School. Awards include finisher's medals for the fun run and top-three overall finishers in the 5K, plus top-three awards in age groups (11 and under through age 84, plus physically challenged and wheelchair categories). Parking is available at the high school lots and nearby streets.
