On April 11, 2026, Mamatoto Village hosts a 3.1-mile walk in Oxon Hill, Maryland, to support Black maternal health initiatives. Participants can register in advance (through April 2) or on race day (until 7:00 a.m.). The walk begins at 9:00 a.m., preceded by an opening ceremony at 8:00 a.m. and warm-up at 8:45 a.m. All participants receive a race bib, event t-shirt, swag bag, refreshments, and a finisher medal. Top three finishers earn additional awards. Hydration stations and a lactation lounge are available. Early packet pickup is offered April 8–9 at the Mamatoto Village office in Washington, D.C., or day-of pickup runs from 7:00–8:00 a.m. at National Harbor's Plaza. Registration fees range from free (children 7 and under) to $54 for adults, with reduced rates for youth and students. Proceeds support doula services, childbirth education, lactation support, and community birthworker workforce development.
