Hart-Miller Island Run 2026

The race.

The Hart-Miller Island Run takes place October 3, 2026, in Essex, Maryland, featuring 5-mile and 5.3-mile courses on Hart-Miller Island. Participants register in advance only; race day registration is not available. Registration includes a race shirt, round-trip boat transportation from Rocky Point Park, and entry to the race. The event is capped at 120 registered participants plus up to 25 registered guests. Packet pickup occurs Friday, October 2, from 4–7 p.m. at Charm City Run in Timonium. Race day operations begin at 6:30 a.m. with parking at Rocky Point, first boat departure at 7 a.m., and race start at 9:30 a.m. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers by gender identity and to top male and female finishers in age groups spanning 19 and under through 60 and over. Light refreshments are provided after the race.
