About the race
The race.
The Stocking Suffer 8-Hour Endurance Run takes place December 6, 2026, at Terrapin Nature Park in Stevensville, MD. Participants have eight hours to complete as many 2.8-mile laps as possible on the trail course. Each finished lap earns items added to a personal stocking that runners take home, along with a special gift at the end. Top male and female finishers by lap count receive additional awards. An aid station at the start/finish provides water, sports drink, and snacks, with restrooms and porta-potties available on course. Registration is capped at 100 participants.
