About the race
The race.
The Marcus Fair 5K takes place on August 15, 2026, in Marcus, Iowa, starting at Marcus City Park/Swimming Pool on the east side of the Marcus Fairgrounds. The 5K run/walk begins at 8:00 am, with registration opening at 7:00 am and closing at 7:55 am. Early registration through July 26 costs $20 per person; registration from July 27 through race day costs $25. Finishers receive fruit and water. Race shirts are guaranteed for pre-registered runners only, with limited extras available for day-of registrants.
