The race.

The Marietta Shamrock Shuffle 5K takes place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, on The Square in Marietta, Georgia. Runners can participate in the standard 5K distance or as a Ghost Runner. The event benefits the Marietta Police Athletic League's youth sports, recreation, and education programs serving school-aged children in the area. Participants can enter St. Patrick's Day costume contests judged for most convincing leprechaun and top qualifier categories. The second mile of the race is designated the "Memorial Mile of Celebration," where "In Memory of" teams run to honor loved ones; teams registering 25 or more members by February 14, 2026, will have their honoree's name printed on the race shirt and receive memorial wristbands.
